Following the passing away of Sir Bobby Robson on the 31st July, NightOwls host Alan Robson MBE felt compelled to pen a tribute to sum up the emotion felt by the adoring North East public. Set to the tune of “Coming Home Newcastle”, the classic track written by Geordie folklore hero Ronnie Lambert, Sir Bobby’s incredible life is chronicled in a touching tribute that is sure to play on the heartstrings of the region that loved him so.

They are available for £3. All profits from the track will be shared between The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Metro Radio’s Cash for Kids. This means all money will be staying in the North East - the region which Sir Bobby loved so dearly.
